USA Top Gear Will Blow Oats

Hey there from Pimped Out Cars

A U.S.A Version of Top gear has been announced. In short I think that it will blow oats. The Americans have never been able to reproduce anything that the British have done on TV. It just lacks the essence of the British that makes it funny. British humor is just so much different. The English know the art of the understatement and that is what makes Top Gear so funny and fun to watch. Anybody can drink beer, swear, be insulting and drive a car. That’s and every day occurrence here in the States, and it’s not funny.

I don’t find Adam Carolla very funny. I watched his show a couple of times and got bored with it pretty quickly. It’s funny for about 2 minutes. I don’t know that much about the other two guys. Tanner Foust is stunt driver and Rally driver. Eric Stromer is a Soap Opera star and former construction worker. How many actors have been construction workers, Carpenters or wait staff.

And there is so much talk about how minorities don’t get the opportunities the Whites do. I think there is probably a lack of insight from the powers that be, who are putting the show together. Did they take into account any African American and Latinos and Asians for hosts. Hmm, I wonder???

Maybe the American Stig will be black , but noone will know . Maybe instead of a white helmet he or she will wear a black helmet. Blacks, Latinos and Asians in the united states have a such a great influence on cars. Where did lowriders come from? What about cars on 26 inch rims? Who came out with the idea of pimping out Cars? What about tuner cars? I am pretty sure it wasn’t, quote, “The man” who came up with all these things. A whole section of this country has been forgotten by the choice of hosts in this show.

One thing that can bring everyone together in the United States is that we all love cars. We love to show off our cars and personalize them. If we have nothing to talk about with each other, we can talk about cars. Friendship are begun on commonalities. Ask yourself do you have friends at work or are they just acquaintances? When you change jobs you will know whether they are friends or acquaintances. Your friends, you will keep in touch with and they will keep in touch with you.
