Skoty Chops who is from SAN CARLOS, California makes a great looking Rat Rod. Although he does not car for the term Rat Rod itself. This Cars is sweet.
It’s a 1930 Ford Model A with an early 1970’s Chevy 350 engine. It has a 1956 Ford F150 Steering Box. Full Safari window, that means you can open the window all the way up for some refreshing air conditioning, but be careful not to open your mouth while driving. unless you want to chance eating some bugs.
It has an Automatic Transmission with suicide shift, meaning your need to open your window to used it and hope no passers by bump it. Check out the 5 and 1/2 inch chop and the gas cap in the roof which goes to a 1956 Chevy Pick up gas tank behind the drivers seat which happens to be made from a couple of office chairs. When you open the trunk you can look at the airbag suspension.
The dashboard is really ingenious. It’s a 1947 dashboard with 1959 Chrysler hub caps.
